Rosegal: Last Floral Summer

Floral will always be a sign of my 10% girly side, summer is over but still wearing floral outfit whenever the sun is out. Keeping my outfit more summer friendly is a nice thing to wear on a day when rain is not pouring to refresh your new day! Gloomy weather in the past few months is keeping me so limited in what should I wear. So, when it's hot I always wear the comfiest and refreshing outfit. This might be the last floral summer of the year because it is the start of "Ber months" that means the days and nights will be colder as Christmas season is just around the corner. Traveling has taught me a lot of things and one of those things is to accept my body. When I travel I can be free to wear anything without anyone to judge. Traveling also gives me the chance to be not body shamed by people. I mean, in our Filipino society there is a so-called "perfect/sexy body" that is set as a standard for body sizes. I say, shut it and I don't care, to be honest I have proven to myself the "self acceptance" and "confidence", that's the key. Being body positive will also give you the freedom to wear whatever clothes you want, even if it is a swimsuit. Many of us are so shy to wear a swimsuit to the beach or pool. The Philippines has so many beautiful beaches out there and girls you need to rock that swimsuit that is sleeping in your closet for ages. The Girl Who Time Travels

It was a classic day in a classical museum wearing a classic outfit. I can still remember the time when I was still in love with vintage styling and this really brings back memories. One of the best keys to vintage styling is to have a good eye on vintage vibe clothing. This outfit is inspired by classic Filipina in the Spaniard era. A classic Filipina back then is sophisticated having a classic lace top with huge sleeves and pairing it with a beautiful skirt. Creating a modern Filipina look, wearing a white off the shoulder top with bell sleeves and a floral body con skirt as an alternative to the huge skirt back in the days.
