Growing up, I didn't have access to a lot of clothes or shoes. I vividly recall eagerly awaiting Christmas for new clothes, and relying on hand-me-down shoes from relatives. But those humble beginnings ignited a fire within me to one day have the freedom to wear whatever I desired.
As I entered college, I began to save up my allowance to build my own wardrobe. Experimenting with trends became my forte, and I quickly gained a reputation as a trendsetter in my school. Transitioning to a new university after completing my Associate's degree, I took my first step into the blogosphere by joining Chictopia. It was there that I found endless inspiration and connected with like-minded fashion enthusiasts.
In February 2014, I took the leap and launched my own fashion blog, Qing's Style. Balancing outfit posts with the demands of thesis writing and later, a full-time job, wasn't easy. As a one-person team, I became adept at setting up my own tripod for photoshoots, a practice I still uphold today.
